Reenlistment

On Friday morning John reenlisted till 2014. This means that we are slated to stay here at Fort Lewis until that date. Of course that could change after deployment is over but that is not for a few years.

They are now being told that deployment is to start August/September 2009. We'll see how many more times that changes between now and then.

Fabulous Weekend!!!!

We went to the Marriage Retreat for John's Battalion. There was 32 couples counting us. It was a great time for everyone as well as a good learning experience. It was held at the Shilo Inn in Ocean Shores, WA (right on the beach). We were on the 4th floor and our view was AWESOME!! (see the above picture).

The girls didnt want to leave the daycare area at all on Sunday night when we picked them up. John and I had a blast on Sunday afternoon during the free time. With another couple we went and played miniature golf, the guys rode the bumper boats and then we went bowling.
