I've been tagged!
Thanks alot Missy do you not realize how long my middle name is!!!!
Here are the rules:
1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.
2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name).
3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.
4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)
D- Dedicated (or so I am told often by others)
A- Achiever ( Im sure sometimes its either an over achiever or its under achieving)
N- Never-ending to make others feel better or special when they need it (probably why a certain group of people call me the RAK Queen)
I- Innovated
E- Efficient
L- Loyal (another one that I have been told often by others)
L- Leadership qualities (I guess)
E- Enthusiastic regarding my hobbies
Now to figure out if anyone is left to tag!!

Life sure has changed!!!
We've been here at Fort Lewis for almost 3 months now and it sure is a different way of life. We still are waiting to move on post, right now we are 93 out of 122 with a tenative April/May moving.
John is currently in Yakima training. Ive gotten a few text messages from him but he is so busy keeping "his" soldiers in line plus they are not supposed to be on cell phones but when they left Chief said just dont get caught using a cell phone. He is supposed to be allowed a phone call on Sunday when they come out of the field for Super Bowl. Yep have to keep their priorities straight. They are still slated for a deployment beginning of 2009. Re: promotion-- well I got to read last months performance evaluation (shhh I just happened to be the right place at the right time when Chief asked John to sign it). The only thing holding it back right now is Time in Grade. He is supposed to have 6 months. Well command is trying to get a waiver so that they can make it official. Hes basically an unofficial NCO and "his" soldiers have been told to treat him as such.
I have never seen so much rain in my life. Seems that we have gone from one extreme to another- snow to rain. But Ive been told that the wonderful weather is coming very soon. We havent had much time to explore between Johns duty schedule and the weather but we are looking forward to exploring soon and have a list of what we want to do and see.
I still havent met to many other wives but I am also in the works to get that changed. I am looking into the Enlisted Spouses Club, I am looking into the colleges on post, and John and I are hosting a BBQ on the 23rd for the gun section (a couple of these wives think that they are better off not being around their husbands unit). Which has kept me busy the last few days with planning the menu and buying supplies for it-- 10 soldiers, their significant other and children means about 27 people counting us in the apartment.
Well I need to do a couple things before Savannah gets off the school bus so I better close-- till later.

Ok Im a bad blogger!!
Life has gotten the best of me and I havent kept things up to date at all. The girls and I had a good time in California and was great to see the boys and spend time with them again!!!
Savannah came to me this morning and told me her teeth hurt. I thought maybe she was getting her top teeth, well boy was I wrong!!! Her bottom front TWO are loose!!!!! She was a little freaked out that she would have to go get them pulled but John quickly got her settled down and when he told her that they will fall out by themselves and then the tooth fairy would come visit all was well again.
Alexis is now potty trained, I wont say fully cause we are still having to work with her to remember to go but weve had no diapers on in a week with only a couple of accidents during the day and only one at night.
Savannah starts Kindergarten on the 4th (Mon-Fri morning). On Tuesday we have open house at her school and for her to meet her teacher. She is going to the "new" school that is only about 3 miles from us. I am happy cause the one that is right near us is very crowded and I have heard not some nice things about the teachers there. The school she will be attending I have heard nothing but rave reviews about.
Alexis starts preschool on the 5th (Mon-Thurs and one Fri a month morning). Alexis's first day is only 45 minutes with a parent present so they can get introduced to everyone. Her teacher will be the same one that Savannah had last year. In fact the teacher and Family Advocate will be here Wens for the home visit. The teacher is already asking me if I will be a room mother. LOL
Well I really shouldnt be on this computer as we have 30 to 40 people coming tomorrow for Alexis's b-day party. And of course I am seriously on a rampage to make sure everythings perfect and doesnt help that as of right now John's commander and first sgt and their families are coming!!! I bet John's probably glad hes at work today. :)

Busy Busy.
We have been so busy the last week and a half and will be for at least another 2 weeks!!
John's birthday went well, we went out last Friday with friends and had dinner and a few drinks. We all had a great time!!!
Taxes came back! I am now driving a 1994 GMC Safari van. Its great to have reliable vehicle again!! I feel like I am driving a tank though compared to the Kia. I just know that the remote start on it is going to come in very handy this upcoming winter!!!
John's currently gone at seminar for Village green. He should be back tomorrow night. Saturday we are heading to Frankenmuth for the day and then John will get to have his free chicken dinner.
Savannah has an all day field trip on the 23rd (the zoo and science museum). Im thinking of going as a chaperon since I can take Alexis but waiting to see when the funeral is first.
Ok I better explain the funeral. A soldier in Johns unit stepson was killed in Iraq last weekend. The soldier also was in Iraq and got home Tuesday afternoon. The family is holding together as well as can be expected. John and I are going to the funeral as a show of commadere (ok I know I spelled that wrong) to the soldier and his family.
Well thats enough rambling for today, hope that each and everyone of you has a great weekend

Another weekend down
John just finished his second weekend in the field, he actually didnt like this weekend to much as he was bored alot of the time (the Battery Commander had him be his driver all weekend).
John's finally close to where he needs to be to get those stripes on!!!! He has drill in 6 weeks and everyone is pretty sure that he will be doing the promotion stuff then (honestly I have heard it so many times that I cant seem to get excited for him till I see it happening).
Savannah is on the last few weeks of school. Then the fun begins!! This girl asks me nonstop every afternoon, do I have school tomorrow, when we say yes she gets very happy!! I dont know how well we are going to adapt to summer schedule. Not only in September will she start kindergarten but she also will be starting Girls Scouts (sorry unsure what her age group is called).
Then there is Alexis, stubborn headed as always. She is still refusing to potty train no matter what we bribe her with!! She also has been little miss attitude lately and if she dont get her way, watch out world.
Well time to close this post. Hope that all of you are having a great day!!
